Steve Rogers

Steve Rogers is a creative powerhouse who brings his distinct visual style and business acumen to the commercial world and beyond. An award-winning director, he is represented by Biscuit Filmworks and, with his business partner Michael Ritchie, co-founded Revolver, one of Australia’s leading commercial production companies. Steve is well known for his deft casting and ability to find and collaborate with exceptional filmmaking talent. He excels at getting to the heart of a client’s message and has worked with the world’s leading brands, earning recognition from international awards shows including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clios, The One Show, the Art Directors Club, Creative Circle, the British Arrows, AICP, APA, LIA, and NYF. He has earned nominations from the DGA for Outstanding Achievement in Commercials and from the Emmys for his Amazon “Before Alexa” spot, and he was a finalist for Ad Age’s Director of the Year award. In 2024, he was named Director of the Year at the shots EMEA Awards and, in 2023, he was named the same at Ciclope. In 2023 and 2024, Steve was named #1 and #3 Top Director, respectively, by Campaign Magazine UK.  His recent work includes the highly acclaimed Paralympics spot “Considering What?” for Channel 4 which earned a Cannes Lions Film Grand Prix, Squarespace’s Super Bowl campaign starring Barry Keoghan, a holiday campaign for Telstra, and the inventive multi-award-winning “One Square Meter” spot for Hornbach. Other notable brand campaigns include work for Apple, Amazon Prime, Uber Eats, John Lewis, Volkswagen, AT&T, Nike Golf, and Old Spice. He also directed Tourism Australia’s star-studded “Dundee” Super Bowl LII campaign, which earned three Golds, two Silvers, and a Titanium Lion at Cannes Lions. Born and raised in Australia, Steve’s career began as a designer and director for Island Records, Sky TV, and Fox.
