Los Pérez
Composed of filmmakers Tania Verduzco and Adrián Pérez, the directorial duo Los Pérez is known for their vibrant and lushly detailed art direction and cinematic world-building across commercials, music videos, and branded content.
Los Pérez have been creative collaborators for over ten years, since meeting and joining forces at film school in Barcelona. With a portfolio that is cinematic and daring, their work engages viewers through its energy and unexpected visual touches. Their projects include four magical global campaigns for Tinder under the banner of “It Starts With A Swipe,” which combine technical feats with thoughtful artistry. Los Pérez’s epic short for Apple, shot entirely on the iPhone 14 Pro, “Huracán Ramírez vs. La Piñata Enchilada,” reached over 35 million viewers and earned numerous awards, including Ad Age’s Creativity Award for Craft of the Year. The film also earned accolades from Cannes Lions, the Webby Awards, AICP, D&AD, The One Show, ADC, and El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and was an official selection for short film in the Tribeca Film Festival.
The duo’s biggest undertaking of 2024 was the 5-minute, 30-second film “Call of the Kings” to promote Saudi Arabia’s Six Kings Slam tennis tournament. The epic film stars tennis pros Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune, and Jannick Sinner. Spanning everything from Viking-inspired battles at sea, to unstoppable desert sandstorms, to snow-covered mountain environments with stunningly lifelike CG creatures, the film is a triumph of visual effects and world-building. Other notable work includes Mountain Dew, Coca-Cola with Tyler the Creator, Klarna with A$AP Rocky, a Taco Bell Super Bowl spot starring Doja Cat, and Paramount+ featuring Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci, and Miranda Cosgrove. In 2022, Los Pérez made the Adweek Creative 100 list, cited as visionary directors changing the way the world is seen.
With a dedication to their craft and a fine-tuned ability to align their independent perspectives, Los Pérez always delivers something unexpected in their visuals and storytelling. They are represented by Biscuit Filmworks in the U.S.
