Bianca Poletti

Bianca is a distinctive storyteller crafting deeply lived-in worlds across film, commercials, music videos, and photography. Her work utilizes vivid production design, dynamic movement, expansive character development, and chemistry-driven casting to playfully and authentically explore coming-of-age narratives and various facets of the human psyche. Born in California to Argentinian parents, Bianca was raised by her mother and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Film Studies before embarking on her directing career. She has helmed spots for Planned Parenthood, Sephora, Facebook, Ford, and a Coca-Cola spot for the FIFA Women’s World Cup where she worked with an Argentinian agency and cast. Her most recent short films include “Face Tweak,” a perceptive look at photo filters, social media, and AI, and “Video Barn,” an eerily analog mystery set in a small town video store, which had its world premiere as part of SXSW 2025’s Midnight Shorts program. Bianca’s previous short films include “Radical Honesty,” which earned Silver at the Young Directors Awards and Gold at Ciclope, “I Am Whole,” which was featured at the Hammer Museum’s Flux Screening Series, and “Ultra Low.” She has also directed music videos for acts such as Röyksopp, and shot extensive photography work for talent including Sacha Baron Cohen, Sean Penn, and Zoe Saldana. Bianca is represented by Biscuit Filmworks in the U.S. and U.K.; Bacon in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden; OPC in Canada; Zauberberg in Germany; Frenzy in France; Primo in Mexico, Spain, Argentina, and Colombia; Czar in Belgium; and Mofa in Australia.
