Glue Society – I Wish You Hadn’t Asked

I Wish You Hadn’t Asked 2011 House, Irrigation, Mixed Media Sculpture by the Sea, Denmark A seemingly strong and stable relationship can sometimes reach a point where the arrival of a single question can sow a seed of doubt or destruction. This artwork allowed the audience to explore this downfall in a literal way. By entering an ordinary looking house, visitors discovered this one rained on the inside. Continuously. At the beginning of the 30 day experience, it was relatively fresh and exciting. But after a few days, the deterioration was palpable. And the rot had set in. Winner of the Major Art Prize.
